Cockroaches live where there is heat, water and a food source. Supermarket sprays can spread an infestation, so we treat the areas where they are living with a combination of spray, gel and dust.

How we treat them
You do not have to leave home during the standard treatment. If a gassing treatment is needed, the house must be vacated for a minimum of 7 hours. There is very little odour during or after treatment. Spraying Doom or similar products afterwards can affect the quality of the professional treatment.

The treatment type depends on the site and level of infestation: gel, spray or dusting, with fogging or space spraying for major infestations.
It must be noted that some severe infestations may need more than one follow-up.

What is a standard treatment for cockroaches?
A combination spray, gel and dust treatment of the required areas.
I am seeing cockroaches in areas apart from the kitchen.
This means you have a severe infestation, which needs a Nupro gassing treatment in addition to the standard treatment. A severe infestation will probably need a follow-up, and some may need more than one.
Do I have to leave home during the treatment?
No. If a gassing treatment is needed, the premises must be vacated for a minimum of 7 hours.
Is there a smell during or after treatment?
There is very little odour during or after treatment.
Do we have to empty the cupboards?
If cupboards are overfull with foodstuffs, old newspapers or plastic bags, empty them by half. We must be able to put a nozzle into the back of a cupboard. Also check for foodstuffs past their sell-by date and those that have not been in sealed containers for a while, such as pasta, rice, biscuits and cereals.
Can I spray with Doom to sort out cockroaches?
Domestic aerosol sprays can cause a cockroach to drop its egg casing, starting another nesting area. Spraying after a professional treatment can also affect the quality of that treatment.
